Iggywoo
Iggywoo is a young independent perfume house founded in 2024 by Richard Saint-Ford, who is both its founder and the nose behind every fragrance in the line. The house was built around what Saint-Ford calls scent-escapism — his stated aim is to “break free from the rules, liberate ourselves from the ordinary” and build fragrances that carry the wearer somewhere beyond the visible.
In practice that reads as a house that takes a familiar, commercially safe idea and deliberately refuses the obvious version of it. Pistachio Voodoo Child treats pistachio as a delicate natural material wrapped in powdered jasmine and sandalwood rather than as sugar and syrup. Cherry Love Extreme pushes cherry into the background and builds on clove, pink pepper and rose instead. Lost In Vanillatopia sets out to be a vanilla that is neither bakery-sweet nor gourmand, reaching for amber and solar musk. The results are unconventional without being difficult, which is a harder balance to strike than it sounds.
The presentation is as distinctive as the juice. Every fragrance shares one flacon — a squat clear-glass bottle under a tall stepped white cap that looks closer to a piece of sculpture than a standard perfume closure — with the house wordmark set in a mirrored, inverted typeface. The eaux de parfum are presented in 60 ml, with a six-vial Discovery Set for anyone wanting to try the range first.
