What it smells like

Cosmos is a bold, cosmic composition — metallic, smoky and mineral. It opens with a startling cold-metal accord over boozy whiskey, musk and sweet praline.

The heart is dark and dramatic, with bitter cacao, resinous dragon-blood and a charred coal facet. The base is deep and smoky: smoke, leather, agarwood and powdery orris. It is an avant-garde smoky-woody leather — futuristic, intense and utterly distinctive, radiating from the skin like starlight over black rock.

The full composition runs from top notes of Whiskey, Musk, Praline, through a heart of Cocoa, Dragon Blood, Coal, to a base of Smoke, Leather, Agarwood, Orris — a woody built to unfold slowly and wear close to the skin. The parfum is housed in House of Bō's signature bottle, finished with a hand-cut, semi-precious stone cap chosen to mirror the mood of the scent.

Who made it

This parfum was composed by Alberto Morillas, one of the most celebrated perfumers in the world. Born in Seville in 1950 and raised in Geneva, he joined Firmenich in 1970 and remains one of its master perfumers, with a body of work spanning more than five decades. His creations include era-defining hits such as CK One, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò, Bvlgari pour Homme, Kenzo Flower, Marc Jacobs Daisy and Gucci Bloom. He is celebrated for his mastery of clean musks, luminous florals and radiant, effortless-feeling structures.
