Alberto Morillas
Alberto Morillas is one of the most celebrated perfumers in the world. Born in Seville in 1950 and raised in Geneva, he joined Firmenich in 1970 and remains one of its master perfumers, with a body of work spanning more than five decades and hundreds of fragrances. His creations include era-defining hits such as CK One, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò, Bvlgari pour Homme, Kenzo Flower, Marc Jacobs Daisy and Gucci Bloom — a résumé that has made him a reference point for modern perfumery.
He is celebrated for his mastery of clean musks, luminous florals and radiant, effortless-feeling structures. For the Miami house House of Bō he composed the metallic, smoky Cosmos, a bold, artistic parfum that pairs fine materials with the tropical, Latin-inflected spirit of the house.
Cosmos showcases his gift for turning unconventional materials — here a metallic, mineral smokiness — into something polished, radiant and eminently wearable.
