Two houses on our shelves are boutique only: Parfums de Marly and Initio Parfums Privés. Their makers do not allow online sales, so you will not find them listed, priced or shipped from this website. They are here, at 92 West Main Street in Somerville, and you are welcome to come and smell them.
A French house founded by Julien Sprecher in 2009, named for the Château de Marly. Known for rich, long-lasting compositions — the Exclusifs line in particular. The newest of them, Althaïr Exclusif, is on the scent bar now.
Founded in 2015, also by Julien Sprecher. Concentrated extraits built around a single idea per scent, in heavy black flacons. Smell them next to each other and the house style is obvious within a minute.
How to try them
- Walk in Wednesday to Saturday, 11–7, or Sunday, 12–5.
- Monday and Tuesday are by appointment with a specialist — book a private session or call (201) 688-0685.
- Ask for a blotter and a sample. Wear it for a day before deciding — that is what the boutique is for.
