d'Annam
d'Annam is a niche perfume house founded by Nick Hoang, whose name means ‘from Annam’ — the old name for Vietnam. The house composes fragrances as olfactory love letters to East and Southeast Asian food, culture and memory, turning dishes, drinks and rituals — white rice, mango sticky rice, matcha soft serve, mooncake, bubble tea — into vivid, wearable scent.
Where many houses chase abstraction, d'Annam renders vivid, legible concepts — a bowl of steaming rice, a cup of pomelo oolong, a scoop of matcha soft serve — with genuine perfumery finesse, earning international recognition including an Art & Olfaction Awards honourable mention. Each release is a wearable memory of a specific dish, drink or ritual, and the house has won a devoted following among lovers of gourmand and Asian-inspired perfumery.
Its Vietnam-inspired collection is composed chiefly by IFF perfumer Anh Ngo, with additional work by perfumer Luis Hou, and is presented in minimalist rounded clear-glass bottles paired with beautifully illustrated art boxes. Each fragrance is offered here at Redolia Perfumery as a full bottle. Explore the d'Annam collection below.
