Cashmere Show Pony is the most-reviewed fragrance from Iggywoo, released in 2024 and composed by founder Richard Saint-Ford, and it is a coconut-and-musk scent that stays far closer to skin than its note list implies.
What it smells like
Coconut leads, but pay attention to which part of the coconut. The house describes it as husk rather than flesh, and that is accurate — this is the dry, fibrous, faintly woody part of the fruit, not the sweet white interior and definitely not suntan lotion.
Passion flower sits alongside it in the heart and gives the fragrance a transparent, slightly green lift. Fragrantica's note list also includes cotton candy and sugar, and this is where opinion divides sharply. The brand says explicitly that the scent leaves sweetness behind; the community's top-ranked accord is sweet, ahead of coconut, floral, tropical and fruity. Both readings are defensible and your own sweetness threshold will decide which camp you land in. What is actually on skin is a creamy tropical accord that some people register as sugary and others do not.
The base settles it. Cashmere wood and white musk, soft and faintly powdery, are what keep the whole thing sheer instead of letting it become a beach gourmand. After an hour it is a skin scent.
Who it's for
For people who like coconut but not the holiday-postcard version of it. The husk treatment and the musk base make this wearable in a way most coconut fragrances are not.
It is a good option if you already wear skin musks and want something with more personality, or if you like lactonic and creamy compositions generally.
The honest caveat is the one above: if you are highly sensitive to sweetness, sample before buying, because a meaningful number of wearers find this sweeter than the brand's description suggests. Projection is modest and it sits close quite quickly, with moderate longevity — this is a quiet fragrance by design.
The house positions it as seasonless and that holds up. It is light enough for summer and the musk gives it enough substance for winter, which makes it one of the few genuinely year-round scents in the range. Everyday wear is where it belongs: sheer enough for an office, soft enough to put on without deciding anything. In the evening it reads relaxed rather than dressed up.
