Sonia Constant

Sonia Constant is one of the most respected perfumers of her generation and the creator of every Ella K fragrance. Trained at ISIPCA in Paris and at the Givaudan perfumery school, she spent more than twenty years composing for one of the world’s leading fragrance houses, signing acclaimed creations for major brands, before founding her own house, Ella K, in 2017.

Her signature is cinematic, emotional storytelling: each scent is built like a travelogue that captures the light, air and materials of a specific place. She favours beautiful naturals and modern captives over loud, obvious effects, which is why her work — from the dewy aquatic Pluie sur Ha Long to the smoky leather Mélodie de l’Altaï and the cocoa-amber Amber K — feels at once couture-polished and deeply personal.
