Rodrigo Flores-Roux
Rodrigo Flores-Roux is a celebrated Mexican-born perfumer and a senior perfumer at Givaudan, where he has worked for decades. Raised in Mexico City with an early love of botany, he built a distinguished career in New York and is widely known for the Arquiste line, Clinique Happy for Men, John Varvatos and Tom Ford's neroli and citrus creations — compositions praised for their vivid naturalism and emotional warmth.
His style is luminous, characterful and richly textured, often drawing on the flora and light of Latin America. As one of the noses behind the Miami house House of Bō, Rodrigo composed Agua de Santos, Espiritu and the cult La Mar — bold, artistic parfums that pair fine materials with the tropical spirit of the house.
In La Mar especially, his talent for luminous, skin-warm florals and salt-kissed marine effects has earned the scent a devoted cult following among collectors.
