Laurent Le Guernec
Laurent Le Guernec is an accomplished French-American perfumer and a senior perfumer at IFF in New York. Over a long career he has composed for many major houses, contributing to well-known designer lines for Armani, Michael Kors and others, and is admired for fresh, radiant, expertly balanced compositions.
His style marries French elegance with an American sense of clarity and wearability, moving easily between crisp aquatics, luminous florals and warm woods. For the Miami house House of Bō he composed the aquatic-floral El Sireno, a bold, artistic parfum that pairs fine materials with the tropical, Latin-inflected spirit of the house.
El Sireno reflects his flair for aquatic storytelling, tempering narcotic tuberose and ylang-ylang with cool, briny sea notes for an unexpectedly confident, compliment-drawing signature.
