Hellenist

Hellenist is a Parisian niche perfume house founded in 2024 by Jean-David Jacoby, a former LVMH, L'Oréal and Symrise executive, and the first house dedicated entirely to the olfactive transcription of Greek mythology. Each fragrance tells the epic of a god or hero — Achilles, Artemis, Morpheus — through Mediterranean-sourced materials such as sacred fig and Olympian lavender.

Spanning aromatic fougères, chypres, ambers and aquatics, each Hellenist fragrance pairs a mythological narrative with Mediterranean-sourced naturals and a distinguished nose — from the master perfumer Maurice Roucel to Alexandra Carlin, Suzy Le Helley and Pierre-Constantin Guéros — making the house one of the most talked-about new names in contemporary French niche perfumery.

The young house was quickly celebrated, winning two Indies Awards from Cosmétique Magazine in 2024: a gold medal for best niche fragrance brand and a founder award for Jacoby.
