BORNTOSTANDOUT

BORNTOSTANDOUT is a South Korean niche perfume house founded in Seoul in 2022 by Jun Lim. Bold, provocative and unapologetically sensual, the house builds fragrances around dirty, addictive, skin-and-gourmand themes with deliberately confronting names — from Dirty Heaven and Filthy Musk to the concentrated Extrait Extrême line of Black Mango, Oud Candy and Black Karak.

The signature flacons take their cue from Joseon-dynasty porcelain: crisp white for the Eau de Parfum range and deep crimson for the more concentrated, longer-lasting Extrait Extrême, each finished with the house’s stark red or black lettering. The Extrait line is aged in traditional Korean Onggi pottery, a nod to the brand’s roots.

Nearly every BORNTOSTANDOUT fragrance is unisex, composed with a roster of respected international perfumers including Quentin Bisch and Margaux Le Paih Guérin.
