Bon Parfumeur
Bon Parfumeur is an independent French perfume house founded in Paris in 2017 by Ludovic Bonneton. After years spent between Paris and Colombia — surrounded by cocoa, coffee and tropical flowers — Bonneton, a former Yves Rocher e-commerce lead, set out to make Parisian haute perfumery approachable, joining forces with some of France's most respected noses to bottle a world of everyday emotion.
The house is instantly recognisable for its numbered system: every fragrance wears a three-digit code and a colour that place it within an olfactive family — citrus and colognes in the 000s, then florals, chypres, woods, ambers and beyond. Rather than one signature, Bon Parfumeur offers a wardrobe of scents meant to be mixed, matched and layered to your mood. Compositions favour natural-smelling, quietly sophisticated accords over loud designer trends, which is why the line has become a favourite entry point into niche perfumery.
Bon Parfumeur collaborates with celebrated perfumers including Karine Dubreuil-Sereni, Quentin Bisch, Amélie Jacquin and Paul Guerlain, working across fresh aromatics, gourmands, tobacco and modern ambers. Positioned as accessible niche — perfumer-led craftsmanship and storytelling at a friendlier price than most exclusive houses — it bridges the gap between designer and niche.
What to try: 801 Blu Palermo for a Mediterranean aquatic, 403 Myrrh Shadow for a resinous modern amber, 904 Ice Tobacco for a spicy-fresh tobacco, and 502 Iris Cartagena for a gourmand iris.
