Amélie Jacquin

Amélie Jacquin is a French perfumer who co-composed Bon Parfumeur's 403 Myrrh Shadow alongside Quentin Bisch. Together the pair built a modern interpretation of amber — a resinous, spiced Extrait de Parfum that feels like a tale from the Arabian Nights.

Their composition opens brighter than expected, with bitter orange, grapefruit and tart blackcurrant bud, before a smouldering heart of basil, cinnamon bark and grapefruit-tinged Timut pepper winds around dry cypress. The drydown is a deep, balsamic embrace of myrrh and benzoin resins, soft vanilla, Atlas cedar, patchouli and woody Akigalawood. Jacquin's contribution reflects a taste for characterful, storytelling perfumery, where fiery spices and mystical resins are woven into something rounded and warm.
