What it smells like
Bohemian Lime is a citrus-aromatic perfume inspired by Byron Bay, built around Australian finger lime (Gulalung). It opens with a vibrant, effervescent burst of finger lime — zesty, green and mouth-watering.
Aromatic coriander adds a fresh, herbal spice at the heart before the fragrance softens into a smooth, woody base of vetiver, cedarwood and Australian sandalwood. The effect is a bright, joyful citrus grounded by refined woods — fresh and uplifting but with more staying power and sophistication than a typical cologne.
Who made it
Goldfield & Banks fragrances are composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, the house’s principal perfumer, working under the creative direction of founder Dimitri Weber. A classically trained nose who has spent his career with the world’s leading fragrance suppliers, Merati-Kashani has become the interpreter of a singular brief: to translate native Australian botanicals — sandalwood, boronia, finger lime, blue cypress, red-back ginger — into wearable luxury, often building world-first accords around materials no one had used in fine perfumery before. His signature balances bold, natural raw materials with polished, refined structures that wear beautifully.

Goldfield & Banks is an Australian niche perfume house founded in 2016 by Dimitri Weber, the first to build a luxury fragrance line around native Australian botanicals. Each scent is a journey to a specific place on the continent, from the tropical rainforests of Queensland to the lavender fields of Tasmania and the glowing sunsets of Broome. The range spans the accessible Native Collection and the richer, more concentrated Botanical Series, all crafted with a high proportion of natural essences and presented in weighty, gold-accented bottles.
