The Essential Parfums Bois Impérial Hand Cream is a rich, fast-absorbing 50 ml cream carrying Quentin Bisch's Bois Impérial accord: Thai basil and timut pepper at the opening, then Akigalawood — a patchouli-derived material with a peppery, dry-woody character — over vetiver and ambrofix.
It is the same composition that made the house well known, scaled down to something you can keep on a desk. The cream softens skin and leaves a woody trace on the hands that lasts a couple of hours, never sweet, never soapy.
Essential Parfums was founded in Paris in 2018 by Géraldine Archambault on a simple principle: name the perfumer, keep the packaging plain, and put the money into the formula. The hand cream follows that logic — it is a fragrance product first and a hand cream second.
