Olivia Giacobetti
Olivia Giacobetti is one of the most influential French perfumers of her generation, known for a style of extreme transparency: airy, luminous compositions that suggest more than they state. She founded her own studio, Iunx, and her work includes Diptyque Philosykos, L'Artisan Parfumeur Premier Figuier, Hermès Hiris and En Passant for Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle.
Her signature is restraint. Where much of perfumery builds density, Giacobetti works with watery textures, green stems, milky woods and figs, leaving space inside a formula so that individual materials stay legible on skin.
For the Parisian house D'ORSAY she reworked the house's historic linden fragrance in 1995, first published in 1915 under the name Tilleul. It is sold today as Tilleul d'Ailleurs. C.G. Eau de Toilette, a floral-green composition of petitgrain and lemon over linden blossom, finished with acacia wood and beeswax, and offered here at Redolia Perfumery as a full 90 ml bottle.
