Nasomatto

Nasomatto — Italian for “mad nose” — is the artistic niche house of perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri, founded in 2007 and based between Italy and Amsterdam. The house is built on a single-minded pursuit of emotional impact: Gualtieri composes only what moves him, releasing uncompromising extraits de parfum in short, hand-finished wooden-capped bottles.

Nasomatto’s fragrances are dense, characterful and often deliberately challenging, from the smoky resinous cult classic Black Afgano to the radiant clean-musk of Silver Musk, the narcotic floral Narcotic Venus and the leathery Duro. Each is presented as a high-concentration extrait, prized for its depth, tenacity and refusal to follow trends.
