Frank Voelkl
Frank Voelkl is a German-born, US-based perfumer and a senior perfumer at Firmenich. He is best known as the nose behind Le Labo Santal 33 — one of the most influential niche fragrances of the modern era — as well as widely loved creations such as Glossier You and work across the designer and niche worlds. His signatures are radiant, skin-like woods and musks and immediately recognisable, comfortable-to-wear structures.
He is known for turning distinctive raw materials into accessible, modern classics with broad appeal. For the Miami house House of Bō he composed the smoky, mineral-woody Casa Blanca, a bold, artistic parfum that pairs fine materials with the tropical, Latin-inflected spirit of the house.
Casa Blanca distils his talent for atmosphere, wrapping smoky fig and cool mineral facets around a serene, meditative woodiness that lingers close to the skin.
