Fanny Bal
Fanny Bal is a French perfumer at IFF. Born in Lyon in 1988, she studied chemistry before training at the ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles, then joined IFF, where she was mentored by the master perfumer Dominique Ropion.
Her work for Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, including Eau de Magnolia and Promise, established her reputation, and she has contributed to widely known designer fragrances such as Givenchy L'Interdit and Mugler Alien Fusion. Her style tends towards clear, luminous structures in which one idea is given room to speak.
For the Parisian house D'ORSAY she composed À Cœur Perdu. L.B. Eau de Parfum, a floral-citrus scent built on an iris aldehyde and bergamot opening, orange blossom and neroli at its heart, and a soft base of cashmeran and moss. It is offered here at Redolia Perfumery as a full 90 ml bottle.
Shopping by perfumer is one of the most reliable ways to find your next fragrance, since a nose carries recognisable habits of proportion and texture from one composition to the next. Explore Fanny Bal's work at Redolia Perfumery below.
