Reflet sur l’Okavango follows ‘the river that never reaches the sea’ as it fans across the Botswana sands into a shifting aquatic labyrinth. It opens with a creamy, exotic amarula fruit and green papyrus, fresh yet unexpectedly lush.

The heart threads honeyed acacia, a briny-green caper facet and cool iris through the composition, evoking riverbank flora. The base is where the delta’s trees speak: dry mopane and sycamore woods warmed by soft tonka bean, a green-woody drydown that feels alive and untamed.

Every Ella K fragrance is composed by Sonia Constant, a senior perfumer trained at ISIPCA and the Givaudan perfumery school who spent more than two decades creating for one of the world’s most prestigious fragrance houses before founding Ella K in 2017. Widely respected in the industry, she has signed acclaimed compositions for major houses while pursuing, through Ella K, a more intimate and personal form of perfumery. Her signature is refined, cinematic storytelling — each scent is built like a travelogue, translating the light, air and materials of a real place into a composition that feels both couture-polished and quietly emotional, favouring beautiful naturals and modern captives over loud, obvious effects.
