Clive Christian is a British luxury perfume house founded on the legacy of the Crown Perfumery Company, which was granted a royal warrant by Queen Victoria in 1872. Under Clive Christian's leadership since 1999, the house was reimagined as the pinnacle of luxury perfumery — producing what has repeatedly been recognised as the most expensive perfume in the world, and building a reputation for uncompromising ingredient sourcing and elaborate bottle craftsmanship.

Clive Christian composes fragrances at Extrait de Parfum concentrations, typically at 25–30% oil, meaning very small amounts wear close, project confidently, and last on skin all day. The house is best known for opulent Oriental compositions — heavy on natural ingredients like Bulgarian rose, Indian sandalwood, orris butter, oud, ambergris, and rare tobacco absolutes.

Signature collections

The Original Collection (1872 for Men, 1872 for Women, X Men, X Women, No. 1) forms the classical core. The Private Collection and Noble Collection expand into rarer accords — leather, chypre, spiced tobacco.
