Boadicea The Victorious is a British luxury niche perfume house, founded in London in 2008 and named after Boudica (Boadicea), the warrior queen of the Iceni who led a revolt against the Roman Empire in Britain around AD 60. The house translates that spirit of fearless British nobility into ultra-luxury fragrance, and made its debut at Harrods, where it remains a fixture of the perfume hall.

Boadicea fragrances are instantly recognisable by their heavy, sculptural bottles: a design inspired by Celtic artistry, finished with a pewter collar and a coloured cabochon “jewel” at the stopper. The names read like a roll-call of virtues and warriors — Ardent, Valiant, Heroine, Imperial, Rebellious — while the prestige Sapphire line (Blue Sapphire, Rose Sapphire, Oud Sapphire and more) and the recent Supercharged editions sit at the top of the range.

Stylistically the house spans the full spectrum — luminous citrus and clean florals through to opulent oud, leather, tobacco and amber — but always with a rich, long-wearing, unmistakably British-luxury signature. Fragrances are eau de parfum concentration and priced as high-end niche, with the Sapphire and Supercharged editions among the most exclusive in the collection.
